GIVE US A CALL
We will set up a time to meet with you you to determine an approximate depth, cost and location of your water well. We determine the approximate well depth by looking at well drilling logs and formations, of the wells we have drilled in your area.
Because of our large equipment, it’s important that we assist the customer in deciding where to locate the well. We plan out your water system by measuring distances of your current or planned project site. The State of Iowa requires that a new well must follow certain rules and regulations.
HOW IT WORKS
Depending on the location, the water supply either comes from water-bearing sand or water-bearing bedrock such as limestone. We have the equipment and experience capable of handling both types.
Our drillers typically start with a test-hole to find the ideal depth of the well. This is done by monitoring mud circulation and screening the formations returned from the bottom of the hole. Once the driller knows the final depth of the well, it will be reamed out to allow for PVC casing to be set.
